Making swimming safer in Neufchâteau
At Neufchâteau in Belgium, the challenge, like that of many municipalities, is to operate its lake with the required level of safety for its users. Delimiting a swimming area with buoys is all very well, but it's all too easy for bathers to venture further afield. With this two-metre-wide walkway made from SunnyDock cubes, three objectives are achieved: bathers stay within the demarcated area, first-aiders can intervene more quickly at the four corners of the pool, and the pontoon is an added bonus for bathers, who can rest or sunbathe on it.
